Training
is an
unwise investment without senior managers' support and integrity to
be open and apply learning to the organization. Without leadership support,
frustration sets in when participants return to the company to reinforce
the learning to find the lights are on but "nobody's home."
People
can feel betrayed and don't know what to do with the new knowledge they've
learned unless it is linked across the enterprise. They can become disillusioned
and frustrated when they learn from their new training there ARE more
productive approaches to results, yet, they consistently meet obstacles
in their company culture, process and procedures.
